Having qualified and skilled staff, advanced and up-to-date equipment our company is always ready to provide high quality inspection of parts. For defect finding, such as microcracks, discontinuities, corrosion, cracking, the following methods are used:
- Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI);
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI);
- Eddy Current Inspection (ECI);
- Ultrasonic Inspection (UI);
- Visual Inspection (VI).
Fluorescent dye penetrant inspection is used to detect surface defects, mainly in nonmagnetic materials,with opening width not less than 1 micrometer and that could not be seen visually. Equipment used enables to reveal surface defects, nonconformance and discontinuity flows in almost all directions and lengths.The component which is checked may be made from metal, plastic and other rigid materials or alloys, and have different shape or dimensions. France made equipment and materials, which are used during inspection meets standard ASTM E1417 and appear to be harmless for the inspector. These equipment and materials also are approved by world known aircraft manufacturers and standards, such as: SAE-AMS 2644-QPL 2644-16McDONNEL/DOUGLAS, ALLISON, TURBOMECA, SNECMA, AIRBUS, ROLLS ROYCE, BOEING, LOOKHEED,GENERAL ELECTRIC, DASSAULT, PRATT & WHITNEY, CFMI.
Magnetic particle inspection method is used to detects surface and subsurface discontinuity flows of various shape, size and direction in ferromagnetic materials. The part is subjected to application of magnetic powder, during control, which is accumulated in the defective zone forming “traces” of defects. WE use modern equipment produced by “KARL DEUTSCH” company (Germany), and which meets requirements of ASTM E1444. This equipment is able to detect surface and subsurface cracks and discontinuity flows, such as: cracks, microflaws, flakes, shallow weld, etc. in parts of different configuration and shape.
Eddy current method Eddy current method of inspection is one of the most universal methods of inspection with wide range of functional features. Analyzing measured parameters it is possible to describe geometry (thickness of a wall with one-sided access), evaluate chemical composition, material structure, internal tension, to detect surface and subsurface defects (depth of several millimeters). Basically eddy current method of inspection is utilized to inspect various defects. Used equipment provides wide variety of opportunities to reveal various defects and reject non-repairable components, in order to increase operation life of units and aggregates comprising such components.
Visual method is comparatively simple and cheap method of inspection that does not require expensive and complicated equipment. Specialists of our company systematically attend trainings and have big experience and skills to recognize specific defects. This issue encourages increase of provided services level and components reliability in further exploitation.
